ON THE WAY TO PUTNAM
This book includes selections of poetry from six previous collections written by Brad Davis.
Brad and his partner Deb were at Pomfret from 1987 to 2016. Then, after three years on Long Island at The Stony Brook School, they moved back to the area and settled in Putnam. The poems in the new book, Brad's tenth collection, were written over five decades, from 1968 at Williston Academy (now Williston Northampton School) to his retirement in Putnam just as the pandemic hit. Their son John (class of '99) is married to Mariko Nakaya; they live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn (NY) where she founded Milltown apparel for dogs and he co-owns The Bunker Studio, a high-end recording facility.
